I love to make magic happen! Everything that I do is driven by passion, which I feel is the bedrock of a successful PR and Communications campaign. PR has evolved over the years and we live in a world where the consumer can dictate the narrative from the palm of their hands. It is more than a press release, it's about relationships, authenticity and being relevant. I am all about being brave, thinking outside the box and challenging the status quo.
10 years working in a high-pressure, complex and demanding professional sporting environment has given me the skills essential in executing crisis communications and ensuring the brand/organisation and individuals remain reputable. "No comment" is not the way. I believe in facing the challenge head on by formulating key messaging and strategies to handle the situation and to ensure the brand continues to thrive in its environment.
I have a passion for bringing campaigns to life; from the beginning when it is an idea until the end when it reaches the consumer. Content is about engagement and bringing people closer to the brand or event. The fundamental of any strategy should be based on sentiment; how will this make the average person feel. Sentiment is what drives intent. It is what keeps people coming for more. Digital and content strategy should aim to build an affinity to the brand despite results and opinions.
I was fortunate enough to have a few mentors throughout my career. It was an opportunity to pick someone's brain, have an ear to listen and that little nudge in the right direction. I am passionate about empowerment and mentorship and aim to give back what was given to me. I want to play a part in shaping future generations.

I love live events. There are few other thrills than watching the hard work of pre-event planning come to life on match day. The opportunity to work as the Media Manager for the Proteas at 3 ICC Cricket World Cups, 3 ICC T20 World Cups, 2 ICC Champions Trophy's, on 79 Tests, 180 ODI's and 80 T20I's has given me seasoned experience working on high-profile global events. I excel in media operations and management on projects and events with a strong focus on project planning and strategy, stakeholder relations and match day media management.
